This week on Anime Pulse we got our favorite anime families, the most oppressed anime gamer ever, and getting strict on cosplayers in Japan. Up first IRL news with Joseph drowning in trading cards, and Andrew would like us to be adopted by a selected list of families in anime. Then in industry news we get in topics like the 2nd cancelation of Sakura-Con, some top shonen villains, and new laws are underway to make cosplaying unprofitable. And lastly another round of previews, as Joseph is reincarnated into a jobless slime and Andrew reveals that life is the hardest game of all as he juggles his high school romances.

Episode 686: Winter 2021 Previews #1

This week on Anime Pulse we got revenge porn, trading cards, and spiders. Up first IRL news brings in Joseph showing off his new trading cards, and then Andrew asks the community what shows they’ll be partaking in this winter season. Then in industry news Joseph sits it out as Andrew talks about the delayed Evangelion movie, and some anime Crunchyroll awards. Lastly we jump into the new season as Joseph goes on a revenge quest as he moves to a starter town, and Andrew becomes a spider to investigate rotting animal corpses.

Episode 685: Whisker Away no Futekigousha

This week on Anime Pulse we got tasty KFC sandwiches, the best 2020 openings and endings, and ahegao hoodies. Up first Joseph is having problems with his refrigerator, and Andrew polls the community for their top picks of best OPs and EDs. Afterwards industry news has a new collab for Mister Donut, COVID-chan ruining some winter fun, and having big manly tears appear thanks to an anime movies. Lastly are the reviews with Joseph being the best demon lord ever but ranked the worst, and Andrew turns into a cat to earn the affection of his husbando.

Episode 684: Uzaki-chan wa Godfathers

This week on Anime Pulse we got the dream jobs of Japanese elementary students, the best anime of 2020 according to us, and giant boobies are all it takes to be a download now. Up first IRL news has Joseph shaking things up with his online persona, and Andrew wants to know what our 2021 anime resolutions are. Then in the Industry News the topics crossing our lane include dream jobs of Japanese children, and studio Ghibli losing its grip on being number one. Finally the reviews have Joseph putting up with an annoying kohai with huge knockers, and Andrew sends a severed horse head to his enemies after finding a baby in a dumpster.

Popcorn Pulse 136: Eviction

There’s a certain chill in the air. Pumpkin spice is back on the menu, long sleeve hoodies, and the turning of the leaves. That can mean but one thing. Nolan has another movie out.

Today we have Tenet[2020]. Weltall describes it as the Nolaniest Nolan film that has yet to Nolan. It’s about time travel, sort of. Protagonist gets involved when a terror attack occurs at a theater performance by time reversed moving soldiers. Normally us saying “protagonist” would be there because Tim forgot the character name and not a cheeky mark by a director. Nolan though wanted to see if he could outdo the use of “unobtainium”.

Episode 683: Chocotto no Soma

This week on Anime Pulse we got Christmas gifts, ol’ saint Nick, and the last supper of an overextended anime. Up first IRL news is a bit different as Joseph and Andrew exchange their gifts in the 2nd annual Anime Pulse gift exchange. Then in the industry news we have what should be the final entry in the Act Age legal saga, U.K. McDonalds updating their menu with Curry Nuggets, and some little boys and girls won’t be getting their limited edition figurines this year. And finally in the reviews Joseph begrudgingly finishes the final dish Food Wars hands him, and Andrew gets the best gift of all; a little sister!
