Here’s a little “The Bridge on the River Kwai” trivia, the real bridge was built over the “Mae Klong” river. It was renamed “Khwae Yai” some 3 or so years after the 1957 movie was released. Perhaps a tourism move to bank on the popularity of the Oscar winning film?
The film was a fictionalized version of the construction of the Burma Railway during WW2. What really happened was far worse than what was in the film.
That’s interesting about the name. I assumed that the reality was far worse, just like the lot of POWs in “Empire of the Sun”.
Re: 009 Re:Cyborg, what a disappointment. The writer should be shot for failing to revive a great franchise.
Re: Ore Twintails ni Narimasu, quality took a dive in episodes 6 and 7. Hilariously awful. At this point it’s not Crackers but Netflix.
